DAY 1 / Sep 3, 2026 (Thursday) Arrival in Yukon's Capital

The exciting moment before the journey begins! Today, tour members will gradually arrive in Whitehorse, gather in this gateway city to the North, meet fellow travelers, and, with C2U's professional travel expert Maggie, jointly welcome the upcoming Arctic expedition.

The night is the most anticipated time: if the sky is clear, there's a chance to witness the first aurora borealis of this trip, capturing the magical dance of the Northern Lights under a starry sky, illuminating the prelude to this journey.

DAY 2 / Sep 4, 2026 (Friday) Departure · Yukon Riverbank

In the morning, the journey to the North officially begins! After breakfast, led by the guide, we'll head to the Yukon Tourism Information Center to learn about the legendary stories of this land through videos. Afterwards, we'll leisurely stroll through Whitehorse, experiencing the unique charm of this polar city. Experience the Takhini Hot Springs to relax and prepare for the upcoming Arctic adventure.

In the afternoon, we'll stock up on supplies for the journey – we'll be crossing uninhabited areas, and supplies will be limited for the next three days, so this is the last chance for free shopping. Imagine, in this vast land, all the conveniences of modern civilization will gradually fade away, and what awaits us is the call of the pristine wilderness! This place has one less provincial tax than other provinces, making it a great place to buy outdoor gear!

DAY 3 / Sep 5, 2026 (Saturday) To the Gold Rush Town

Heading north, we drive towards Dawson City – the former dreamland of gold prospectors. The gold rush of yesteryear made it the most prosperous town in the Far North, and today, it still retains that wild, untamed spirit of the wilderness.

Along the way, the Arctic landscape unfolds, with vast, boundless tundra and misty snow-capped mountains in the morning light, captivating the heart. Stroll through Dawson City, follow in Jack London's footsteps, and relive the legendary stories of the northern wilderness he penned.

Photographer's Experience Sharing: Time-lapse photography & Aurora shooting techniques, Aurora prediction app usage guide, practical exercises if aurora appears.

DAY 4 / Sep 6, 2026 (Sunday) Gold Rush Era · Entering the Wilderness

The true challenge of the northern journey begins! Entering the Eagle Plain area, the road becomes rugged, the weather changes rapidly, and magnificent geological landscapes come into view.

This is a paradise for wildlife; you might encounter moose, Arctic foxes, or even Dall sheep on distant mountains. As night falls, we'll listen to stories by the campfire in a northern town, and deep in the wilderness, feel the gentle and wild nature.

Arrive in the evening at a retro hunter-style lodge, with walls adorned with antlers, bear hides, and snowshoes, a microcosm of Arctic culture. You can enjoy a hot drink under the antler chandelier, sit by the fire with fellow travelers, and share observations and surprises from the "Northern Road."

Photographer's Experience Sharing: Advanced astrophotography and aurora shooting, Milky Way photography in the wilderness with zero light pollution, foreground composition and light painting techniques.

DAY 5 / Sep 7, 2026 (Monday) Crossing the Arctic Circle

Continuing deeper into the polar world, we arrive at the Northwest Territories frontier town of Inuvik. Here stands the world's northernmost Catholic church, a tranquil building speaking of extraordinary faith, and making one feel how humanity seeks inner peace in extreme environments.

The night is the most anticipated – this is an excellent place to see the aurora borealis! Under a starry sky, the mysterious aurora may slowly dance across the night, heralding the most magical moment of this journey.

Core experience: Arctic Circle (66°33'N) ritual moment, receive official Arctic Circle crossing certificate, enter the Northwest Territories, cross the Richardson Mountains

DAY 6 / Sep 8, 2026 (Tuesday) Conquering the Arctic Ocean

The moment has finally arrived! We reach the coast of the Arctic Ocean, standing on the "end of the world," with the vast ocean at 70° North stretching before us. The cold sea breeze, mixed with salty air, blows across our faces, and the polar atmosphere is palpable. Experience the grandeur and solemnity of this distant northern land. Touch the Arctic Ocean, completing a life goal at the extreme North.

Special Experience: Visit an indigenous home, taste their generational cuisine, learn about their language, clothing, and hunting methods, and listen to stories of polar survival wisdom and culture. You'll discover that in this land, "life" and "survival" are just a step apart, yet still filled with passion and dignity.

DAY 7 / Sep 9, 2026 (Wednesday) Farewell to the Arctic

On the last day of the trip, with the wonderful experiences of the past few days, enjoy some free time in Inuvik in the morning. Purchase Arctic souvenirs (Inuit handicrafts), and send yourself an Arctic postcard to commemorate this unforgettable journey. When the plane takes off and crosses the clouds, remember to look back – because you have truly walked to the "end of the world," and the light and shadows of the North will forever remain etched in your memory.
